What is a volunteer? According to the dictionary it’s an unpaid helper or unpaid assistant. Believe me, it is a lot more than that. A volunteer is a very special person. This is the type who is willing to take time, out of their busy life style, to help another person or cause. This is the type of person that is rewarded only by the feelings and emotions that come from the giving of one’s self, for the benefit another.
There is no greater feeling. I believe it is the ultimate high in life. I give the highest regards to all those who take the time to become a volunteer.
If you know some who is a volunteer, give them a pat on the back and tell them thank you and maybe ask them how you might become a volunteer. It is a great feeling.
On behalf of the children we work with, we thank you for your time and dedication, which enables us to make “Dreams Come True” for our special children.
